Nearly 150 million tons of urea fertilizer are consumed worldwide annually. The Americas represent roughly 17% of global consumption, yet only produce 10%. This translates to high import costs on foreign-made urea. Our cost-efficient plants and biomass-based process will produce a high-quality urea, right in the rural markets we serve, for far less money than those produced with natural gas or imported from overseas.
A high-quality, locally manufactured urea product will mean healthier, higher-yield crops at a lower cost for farmers worldwide.
